Randy Conyers is guest speaker at McPherson College

Thursday, March 6 was the day I spoke at McPherson College on the topic of Human Services.

I worked with the students interactively, preparing them for volunteer projects outside of the workplace.

We barely had time to learn about advocacy. Key elements are proper introductions, setting appointments with legislators and meeting with legislators to lobby for their cause.

I am still running as a Donkey for the Kansas House of Representatives for McPherson, Lindsborg, Galva and Canton. My past experience in volunteering in Human Services and advocating for the National Alliance on Mental Illness demonstrated to the students that they can become actively involved in Human Service issues today, just like I did.

Randy Conyers' Lindsborg Campaign Manager is Aaron Evans

The Elect Randy Conyers for my House, District 73 Kansas House of Representatives has selected Aaron Evans as his Campaign Manager for the town of Lindsborg.

Evans, a young student in Lindsborg, has a passion for politics and world affairs. His interest in this campaign shows that the young people are concerned about their future and is ready to get involved now so he can help shape society to fit how he chooses to live as an adult.

Conyers said "I have never seen anyone like Aaron before. His favorite TV shows are the History Channel and Fox News. He will be a great asset to my campaign in the Lindsborg area."

 Commander in Chief

We in America need to be looking outside our borders to determine who we want as our next commander in chief.

Our belief system is still looking for that great prince charming to come riding in on his great white horse ready to change the country.

I say we must look at the Presidential Election from a different point of view.

Who will the world leaders respect?

Who can bring America back in to good standings in the world?

Who can be the next Ronald Reagan when it comes to world affairs?

Who can deal with other individual countries?

Who has the expertise to negotiate?

Who has the staff behind them to deal with issues both in America and around the world?

Who can stand on there own two feet and make common sense decisions regarding world affairs?

Who can go in to other societies and be respected?

Who has the experience in going in to other countries?

Who do we want to be in charge of our armed forces?

Who do we want to influence the United Nations?

Who knows where Russia stands?

Who can and will protect Israel?

Who can leave personal emotion and personal feelings back home when going to other parts of the world?

Who can leave their family at home and be gone for long periods of time in other countries, if needed?

Who is able to convince the media that it is hard work and takes a strong work ethic when they are on Air Force One heading to another country?

I can go on and on about world affairs.

I'm tired of "hiding" my navy blue passport.

I'm tired about hearing about change when so many things that are to be "changed" have already been done that the young people don't know about but can find it on official web-sites on the internet if they researched it? If you haven't seen it, it is new to YOU but not to your country.

I'm tired about the doubt of religion, doubt of the American flag, doubt about being raised which is part of your brain's image.

I want our next President to be our Commander in Chief.

I want our people to know that history shows females are great leaders.
